Biography
Gian Piero Viglino born in Alba, Italy, in 1951. Live and work in Dogliani. He paint since the 60s. His goal is to express the emotions aroused by life through colors. Since 1982 he has exhibited many personal and collective exhibitions in galleries, museums and exhibitions in Italy, especially in Turin, but also in Bologna, Rome, Latina, Ivrea, Arezzo, Teramo, Venice, Milan and abroad, including Nice, New York and Prague. In 1994 a flood destroyed his home-studio and most of his work. For this reason he adds to his works a feeling of caducity. Viglino, through the light and shadow of his works, tries to bring attention to a remote world, close to perception, where the colors seem to separate the worlds and turn into an evocation.
